How to Use the xDrip+ Application on Your Android Wear Watch
After you download the xDrip+ app, you will need to install the software on your android wear watch. Once you have done this, you can begin collecting readings. The app will ask you to input two BG values to calibrate itself. Once you have completed this, you will be able to see the readings on your watch's home screen.
You will need to give the app various permissions to begin. Once you have granted these permissions, the xDrip+ app will scan for available Bluetooth devices. The app will then find your Bubble and start collecting data. It will also display a time estimate to collect the readings. After a while, you'll be able to see the readings and determine whether your device is up to par.
You'll also need to grant xDrip+ permission to run in the background, and make sure it's whitelisted in the Android device settings. You can do this by visiting Settings - Applications - xDrip+. You'll want to check your system version as well, as this will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. You can find out your version of Android by visiting System Status - Apps - xDrip+.
The xDrip+ app is easy to use and provides a graphical representation of your glucose levels. It's a free open-source project that began in 2014 and now has 58 contributors. Contributors to the project have a personal connection with diabetes, and don't want to wait for elaborately tested software. While the software may be a work in progress, it offers the best graphical interface available for diabetes management.
